Becoming increasingly sensitive and irritated by everything. The weather, Hollywood noise and stench, my own body, other people's bodies and the mindless prattle they endlessly spew. Cannot wait to get away for awhile. Cannot wait to feel a real season again. Want to spend some time around quiet, reserved, polite people. Want some winter to burn up this energy and chill my senses. Homesick just a bit, eh?

Either that or I'm desperately in need of some really wild sex. Preferably with multiple attractive partners. In the snow. No virgins allowed. Condoms a must.

It's probably a mix of homesickness and lack of crazy orgies.

Suppose I could find a way to fix this, what do you all think?

Update

I got a dog three weeks ago. His name is Drax the Destroyer. He's 9 or 10 years old. Can't tell what breed. I shot with Ellen Stagg a week or two ago and she snapped this pic of us. The pics I saw looked fantastic and I'm excited to see the results. I hadn't modeled in quite awhile!

Zak and I are getting ready to head to NYC for his show, which opens Oct 7th at Fredericks and Freiser Gallery. I am very eager to get out of LA for awhile.

Last weekend Keith Baker (creator of Eberron) came and ran an adventure for us (Satine, Connie, Zak, me and our friend Darren--who's a camera man for IHIWMA) which was lots of fun.

I'm reading Sartre essays on art and music, finished reading Plagues and Peoples--loved it, watching All Creatures Great & Small (oh, childhood), saw a documentary about Harlan County, Lust Caution, Mongol, Warlords, Being John Malkovich, and some other stuff. Mongol was excellent, Lust Caution was disappointing.

Not much else is new. Same old. Struggling with illness and itching to travel.

Hot.

"This must be our task
In Heav'n, this our delight; how wearisome
Eternity so spent in worship paid
To whom we hate. Let us not then pursue
By force impossible, by leave obtain'd
Unacceptable, though in Heav'n, our state
Of splendid vassalage, but rather seek
Our own good from ourselves, and from our own
Live to ourselves, though in this vast recess,
Free, and to none accountable, preferring
Hard liberty before the easy yoke
Or servile Pomp. Our greatness will appear
Then most conspicuous when great things of small,
Useful of hurtful, prosperous of adverse,
We can create, and in what place soe'er
Thrive under evil, and work ease out of pain
Through labour and endurance. This deep world
Of darkness do we dread? How oft amidst
Thick clouds and dark doth Heaven's all-ruling Sire
Choose to reside, his glory unobscured,
And with the majesty of darkness round
Covers his throne, from whence deep thunders roar.
Mustering their rage, and Heaven resembles Hell!"

This makes me want to fuck.
I don't know why.
