A bit of a slow start, but that's to be expected. Really looking forward to the next episode!!
Did you paint your figure?

I can't express how cool I find this. :P My girlfriend [how plays a lot] loved it, too. X]

Haha, very amusing. Out of curiosity, was using The Sword for the music Zak's idea or the Escapist's?

The first episode showed a lot of promise, looking forward to watching more!

Holy shit! You guys have the raddest RP group ever! Where the hell were all the super-hot star-lettes when I was playing these games for the last 15 years?

Loved the sound-track and the game looked fun as hell too.

Keep playing.

You need to get Kylee Kross in on this thing. Mandy Morbid and Kylee Kross would be amazing.

Frankie is gorgeous! If only I lived in New York! :(

@Come Wolf: We are all in L.A not New York.(I used to live in New York, been in LA for about 3 years.)

@anonymous: The music choice was Zak's. They are what we often listened to when we were playing before there was a show.

@anonymous: Regarding Kylee Cross. If she's not already interested in playing DnD she won't be on the show. We have guest stars who a) do or have already play(ed) or b) expressed interest in playing. I personally would love to play with Chapel Waste.

@every one else: Thank you so much for your support!

I'm glad I saw a 3.5 PHB there, Mandy! Not a fan of 4e myself, honestly. I saw you mention Warhammer 40k on your twitter. Do you mind if I ask what army you play as? The nerd in me is dying to know, hah.

Mandy Morbid said...

@ Nick: We play a homebrew hybrid of AD&D and 3.5, we also play homebrew Warhammer 40K so I get to use units from different armies. I don't want to play just one!

Nothing wrong with that. They actually have rules for mixing armies in 40k though, I think it's the apocalypse ruleset. That set also has things like Titans, both Imperial, Chaos, and Bio style. Problem with those is...well, a few hundred dollars for one model. Harsh, you know? Har.

Pfft, "hit it with my axe."

Myself: "Acrobatic stunt?"
DM: "What do you want to do?"
Myself: "I'm going to run up the wall, flip off it, and kick the Carrion Crawler on the ceiling."
DM: "So you're doing a Jackie Chan spin-kick? Go for it."
*Attack Hits*
Myself: "...and the attack lets me push, so I'm going to kick it down into the fire pit."

Anyways, @Nick - I get why 4e gets a bad rap, but I actually prefer it. To me at least, it's a lot less "hold on, let me crunch some numbers", and more "I'm going to bull rush that guy by the cliff, and try to ride him down it like a surfboard".

@Mandy - ah sorry, somehow got it into my head you still lived in NY. Doesn't really change anything as I'm from England. :D

Still enjoyed the video, looking forward to part 2.
